Description
The 1st mountain trip for the SnoGriz Prototype Camper took place on May 17-18-19 2024 in the Pryor Mountains of Montana and Wyoming. No videos on this trip, just pictures. The first day, we took Bear Canyon Road (BLM 1014) to a camp site near where the road is closed until June.

After hiking from our camp on Big Pryor to Red Pryor Mountain and back, we drove from the wetter west side of the Pryor Range to the desert area in Wyoming south of the Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Range and then headed north on Sykes Ridge Road (BLM 1019) to a good camp site below the snow line. We mountain biked from there to Penn's cabin high up on East Pryor Mountain in Montana. Penn's Cabin is a popular area to see the wild horses during the summer, but on this day, all the horses we saw were at much lower elevations. After returning to the SnoGriz, we headed back down Sykes Ridge Road and took in the Bat Cave side loop road on the way home.
