Jeep designated the full-size Cherokee and Wagoneer as J-Series vehicles. The Cherokee and Wagoneer models have Narrow Track Axles. 1977.5-1979 Cherokee and Wagoneer have Dana 44 open knuckle front axles with disc brakes and right side differentials.
