On 1980-1997 Ford Dana 50IFS Front Axles, Camber and Caster are adjusted by changing the Upper Ball Joint Bushing. Our Adjustable Camber/Caster Bushings have 8 Settings; 2 each for Camber & Caster and 4 settings for combined Camber/Caster.

Factory Camber Bushing
Ford Dana 50IFS Twin Traction Beam® (TTB) Front Axles often need a Camber Angle Change for optimum tire wear and handling. The axle beams pivot up and down as the suspension articulates which constantly changes both the camber angle and toe-in but usually the effect on wear and steering is minimal if the front end is properly aligned to begin with. Sagging springs, lift kits, snow plows, winches, heavy loads, and big trailers can all change the camber angle significantly which can increase tire wear and impair steering. Permanent or frequent ride height changes from suspension or load modifications will usually require adjusting the camber (and sometimes caster) to maximize tire life and steering control.
