Description
QU80002 Caliper Slide Lock Bolt for 1976-1985 Ford 4x4 with Disc Brakes Is a special, hex head bolt that threads into the caliper anchor plate on your disc brake equipped 1976 to early 1980's Ford Bronco, F100, F250, and F350. The tapered body between the threads and end fits into the inner notch of the caliper slide or key. QU80002 is plated for corrosion resistance. Imported.
Note: This Bolt is used on axles with Disc Brake Calipers retained by a single Sliding Key and a Tension Spring located between the lower end of the Brake Caliper assembly and the Caliper Anchor Plate. This type of caliper mounting was phased out and replaced by a Two-Pin system during the 1983-1985 model years. Verify your Caliper type before ordering.

Caliper Slide Lock Bolt
These work. A PO had put in the wrong bolt on one side and the slide kept flipping out. Using this bolt, designed like the original, solved the problem.
