Appearance
Applications
Tech Note 1: Threadlocker
Apply Threadlocker to the Bolt threads before installation.
Tech Note 2: Studs or Bolts?
Pretty much all the 1990 and earlier Dodge Dana 70 Rear Axles that I have worked on use studs with tapered wedge bushings for attaching the axle shafts to the wheel hubs. For the Dodge Dana 60, bolts started replacing studs in the 1970's, but the changeover was not uniform depending upon the vehicle. If your Axle Shafts are made for the tapered bushings, you can not use bolts.
Tech Note 3: Appearance
Dana has changed fastener suppliers over the years, so the new production Dana Bolts we supply may look slightly different than your original Bolts.
