QU10979U Used Synchro Tension Spring

QU10979U Used New Process Transfer Case Synchronizer Strut Tension Spring Two of these springs are used in most NP208C, NP208D, NP231C, NP241C, NP231J, 1987-1993 NP241D and NP231D to 1992 synchronized transfer cases to apply tension to the three QU10821 Synchro struts or keys. Tech Note 1: 1994-2002 Dodge
QU10979 Spring was used on most synchronized NP208C, NP208D, NP231C, NP241C, NP231J transfer cases and on Dodge 1988-1992 NP231D, 1988-1993 NP241D models. 1994-2002 Dodge NP231, NP241DLD and NP241DHD transfer cases use QU10820 Springs.

Tech Note 2: To Install
The hooked end of each Tension Spring must be engaged in separate QU10821 Struts.
