Tech Note 1: Slide and Boot Lubrication
Before installing the Caliper Slide Pins, lubricate the outside diameter of the Pins and the inside of the boots with S20356 Synthetic Disc Brake Lubricant. The lubricant helps maintain free movement of the caliper assembly.
Tech Note 2: Pad Clips
The Pad Clips fit between the Caliper Anchor Bracket and the ends of brake pads. They function as both silencers and wear plates while also allowing the pads to move freely side to side.
