Tech Note 1: Product Note
QU50772 Clip is used to hold QU50191 magnet in the bottom of your transfer case or transmission. The spring-loaded, U-shaped ears grip a low vertical boss cast in the transfer case. Due to the weak magnetic properties of the cast iron case, one of these retainers is needed to prevent the magnet from losing it's grip and being flung into the gears when your 4x4 is operated on bad roads or rough terrain.
