QU50633 New Process NP205 Large Bore Case for Dodge and GM is a genuine New Process right hand (passenger side) drop bare case with the 8 bolt hourglass front adapter bolt pattern. Use with Chevy/GMC 32 spline input shafts or Dodge 29 spline input shafts. These cases are bare except for the shift rail seals so you will need to transfer all other components from your old case. USA Made.

Tech Note 1: Small Bore vs. Large Bore
The primary difference between a small bore or large bore, right hand drop, 8 bolt input bolt pattern, NP205 Case is the diameter of the hole for the input bearing. Small bore cases have a 80mm (3.1496") input hole for TK50119 Bearing. Large Bore cases have a 90mm (3.5433") hole which will accept either TK50106 or TK50468 Bearings.

Tech Note 2: Fits
Over the years, New Process used several different castings for GM 32 spline and Dodge 29 spline transfer cases. If you have a GM 32 spline NP205 from behind a Turbo 400 automatic transmission with a 8 bolt front adapter bolt pattern OR a Dodge 29 NP205, this case is the one for you. If you are purchasing this case to do a conversion from a from a 10, 23, or 27 spline input to Dodge 29 spline, Ford 32 spline, or GM 32 spline input shaft, this case will work for you IF: Your adapter is made to fit the 8 bolt pattern and it is machined for the large bore bearing and an input seal. Sorry, we only sell the cases and parts, not the adapters!

Tech Note 3: Torque Rod
The Boss on the right side of the case is drilled and tapped for a torque rod which was used on most GM applications. The holes are blind and do not extend through the case so if you use a torque rod, you must insure the bolts you use are not too long!
