TK4963 Torque King® Heavy Duty 1 Ton Internal Spline Heavy-Duty Front Wheel Hub Kit for 1977-1991 Chevy and GMC K30, K35, K3500, V30, V35, V3500 1 ton Single Rear Wheel 4x4 Trucks. Hub is 100% USA Made from high-strength nodular cast iron for increased strength over stock. Precision CNC machined. Plated for corrosion protection. Hub Kit includes Splined Wheel Hub with Timken® Bearing Cups installed, Timken® Bearings, Dana OEM Wheel Seal, and 8 wheel studs.

Tech Note 2: Never Reuse Wheel Bolts
For safety reasons, never reuse wheel bolts (studs). New wheel bolts do not cost very much and they are way cheaper than hospital or funeral bills.

Tech Note 3: Check Rotor Thickness
It is relatively unusual for a big 4x4 brake rotor to have less than the maximum allowable runout and rotor thickness variation once it is assembled to a wheel hub. This is due to manufacturing tolerances of the parts and the pressures exerted on the hub and rotor when pressing in the wheel studs. After assembling your brake rotor to the new hub, the rotor should be checked for thickness variation (0.001" {0.025 mm} maximum) and runout (0.005" {0.127 mm} maximum with 0.003" or less preferred). A rotor that is out of tolerance should be machined with an on-the-vehicle brake lathe if possible or on an accurate bench type brake lathe

Tech Note 5: Hub & Rotor Assembly
TK4963 plus QU80005 rotor replace 1979-1991 QU30139 OEM Hub and Rotor Assembly. They will also replace all 1977 and 1978 SRW factory wheel hubs that were NOT grooved for a hublock snap ring. Our hub will work with the 1977-1979 full time gear and cap or with any and all manual and auto lockout hubs cataloged to fit 1977-1991 GM Dana 60 front axles.
