QU40331 35 Spline Differential Parts Kit for Dana 60 and 61 Axles is a brand new, genuine Dana Spicer "Spider Gear" set that includes 2 differential side gears, 2 QU40518 pinion mate thrust washers, 2 35 spline differential pinion mate gears, 2 QU40041 side gear thrust washers, QU40520 differential cross shaft, QU40519 cross shaft retaining pin, 12 QU40086 ring gear bolts, and RTV sealant. Fits all 1975 to 2004 Dana 60 and Dana 61 Front axles with open differentials and 35 spline axle shafts from 1975 to 2004.

Tech Note 1: Always Check
Broken gear teeth are obvious, but much more common is just plain wear. Always check the condition of the thrust washers and for signs of wear on the cross shaft. Also inspect the side gear diff case bores for being worn oversize.

Tech Note 2: USED Option
QU20272U is a good used 35 spline "spider gear" kit taken from axle assemblies our Research and Development Department had for part verification and tool design purposes.. It includes the 4 gears, 4 thrust washers, and cross shaft. Order new QU40519 cross shaft retaining pin, 12 QU40086 ring gear bolts, and S82194 RTV Sealant or QU40367 Diff Cover Gasket separately.
