TK20368 Torque King® Right Inner Axle Shaft for 1999-2005 Ford Dana 50 Front Axle is our 30 spline, 100% American made heavy-duty replacement chromemoly right inner axle shaft for all 2000-2005 Ford Excursion AND 1999-2002 Ford F250 and F350 4x4 single rear wheel trucks with Dana 50 front axles. This shaft measures about 37-1/8" from center of u-joint hole to the end and it replaces your wrecked passenger side (long side) inner axle shaft in your Excursion or Ford Super Duty 4x4 truck. NOTE: This Shaft has a maximum strength yoke design, so it can NOT be used with QU40243 Outboard Axle Tube Dust Seal

Tech Note 1: 1999-2005
The Dana 50 Monobeam front axle was only used in 1999-2005 Ford full size 4x4s. It was the stock axle in F350 Single Rear Wheel and F250 Super Duty 4x4s from 1999 to early 2002 when it was replaced by a heavier Dana 60 axle. The Dana 50 monobeam was the ONLY axle used in the 2000-2005 Excursion. I have been unable to verify the Dana 50 being used in the Super Duty after 2002, but it is possible it may have been put in fleet, export, light-duty, or foreign assembled trucks.

Tech Note 2: Spline Size
Externally, the Model 50 Axle looks almost exactly like the Dana 60, however, the Dana 50 axle shaft splines and internal differential components are substantially smaller. If you are unsure which axle you have, you can call us with the axle tag number or check your inner axle shaft splines. Dana 50 inner axle shafts are 1-5/16" x 30 spline. Dana 60 inner axle shafts are 1-1/2" x 35 spline.

Tech Note 3: Dimensions
TK20368 is manufactured from a high-strength, chrome-moly, U.S. made forging. The splined inner end is approximately 1-5/16 in diameter and it has 30 splines. The yoke end is made for standard Ford/Spicer 1480 series axle u-joints with 1-3/8" diameter cups. The span between the inner yoke ears is 3". Length from center of u-joint hole to end of spline is approximately 37-1/8".
