QU20179 1330F Front Dana 60 Pinion Yoke

QU20179 1330F Front Dana 60 Pinion Yoke is a genuine original equipment replacement pinion yoke for 1985-1997 Ford F-350 Front Dana 60 axles and many 1983-1993 Ford Dana 60 and Dana 61 Rear Axles. These are new old stock Ford parts that have been in storage, so there may be some light surface rust on the yoke and/or slinger.

Tech Note 1: 29 Spline Pinion
QU20179 is a 29 spline Dana 60, Dana 61, or Dana 70 pinion yoke made to couple with driveshaft universal joints made to Spicer 1330F specifications. A 1330F u-joint is a Ford specific external snap ring type u-joint with two 1-1/16" diameter cups for the driveshaft and two 1-1/8" diameter cups for the pinion yoke. Overall width is 3-5/8". See TK40723 and QU40776 universal joints. Use QU40841 U-bolts to attach the universal joint to the pinion yoke.

Tech Note 2: Matching Parts
Matching pinion seal is QU40097 and Pinion Nut is QU40022. See QU40356 Crush Sleeve for later model Dana 60 axles in Dodge and Ford trucks that use a collapsible spacer instead of shims to set pinion rotating preload.
