QT1812 Inner/Outer Bearing Cup Installer for Chevy, Dodge, Ford, GMC, and Jeep SUVs & Trucks

QT1812 Outer Pinion Bearing Cup Installer is used to install many of the Bearing Cups used in Chevy, Dodge, Ford, GMC, and Jeep SUV's, 1/2, 3/4 and 1 ton trucks from 1942 to current. QT1812 fits our QU50400 (Dana Axle Outer Pinion), QU50539 (Inner or Outer Axle Pinion), QU50533 (Dana Axle Outer Pinion), and QU50574 (Dana 20, 21, 300 Transfer Cases) bearing cups. Precision CNC machined solid steel tool is drilled to accept any driver handle with a 5/8" tip. USA Made. Be sure to read Tech Notes below!

Tech Note 1: Cup Installer
Using a Bearing Cup Installer not only saves time, but, more importantly, also allows you to install the bearing cup without damaging either the cup or bearing bore. Bearing Cup Installers are the key to damage free bearing cup installation. With one, you can completely seat those bearing cups without nicks or dings. Using the proper Cup Installer and Handle completely eliminates one of the most common causes of premature bearing failure, namely installation with punches or other makeshift tools.

Tech Note 2: Driver Handle
I recommend an 8" handle (QT1100, QT1116) for most applications and a 14" handle (QT1101, QT1119) for deep set inner pinion, rear hub and transmission bearing cups.

Tech Note 3: Redesigned
As of May 1, 2011, QT1812 was redesigned to fit more applications. The current QT1812 replaces our previous QT1812 and QT1815 tools. The new QT1812 Installer is made to install all these Timken® Taper Bearing Cup numbers: 02820, 25821, HM88510, and HM88610. QT1812 Installers sold before that date only work on 02820, 25821, and HM88510.
