Description

QT1805 3-1/2" Wheel and Pinion Bearing Cup Installer is used to install many of the Bearing Cups used in Chevy, Dodge, Ford, GMC, International, and Jeep 3/4 and 1 ton trucks from 1954 to current. Use QT1805 for QU50406, QU50570, QU50606, (inner pinion), and QU50568 (wheel bearing) bearing cups. Precision CNC machined solid steel tool is drilled to accept any driver handle with a 5/8" tip. Outside diameter is approximately 3.5". USA Made.

Tech Note 1: Save Time
Using a Bearing Cup Installer not only saves time, but, more importantly, also allows you to install the bearing cup without damaging either the cup or bearing bore. Bearing Cup Installers are the key to damage free bearing cup installation. With one, you can completely seat those bearing cups without nicks or dings. Using the proper Cup Installer and Handle completely eliminates one of the most common causes of premature bearing failure, namely installation with punches or other makeshift tools.

Tech Note 2: Handle Size
I recommend an 8" handle (QT1100, QT1116) for most applications and a 14" handle (QT1101, QT1119) for deep set inner pinion, rear hub and transmission bearing cups.

Tech Note 3: Timken
QT1805 Installer is made to install all these Timken® Taper Bearing Cup numbers: 362A, HM803110, M804010, and NP912904.
