QU11078 Dodge Ram Heavy-Duty Front Driveshaft Slip Yoke

QU11078 Dodge Ram Heavy-Duty Front Driveshaft Slip Yoke for original equipment replacement or retrofitting 2003-2009 and newer Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 4x4 front driveshafts with TYPE 1 Slip Yokes and universal joints with 1-3/16" diameter cups. This Heavy-Duty Slip Yoke was rarely used by Dodge, but it will upgrade any 2003 to 2009 TYPE 1 Dodge Ram front CV driveshaft including those that originally had a QU50231 Slip Yoke with 1-1/8" cup diameter u-joints if you also purchase QU11052 Flange Yoke and either TK40719 or QU40731 universal joints. Tech Note 1: Needs Grease
This Slip Yoke is designed to be used with a protective boot so it does not have provisions for lubricating it after it is installed. You MUST coat the splines of the yoke and slip stub with QU90018 Pyroplex® Plus Synthetic Grease or other quality, water resistant NLGI #2 GC-LB grease during assembly. Be careful not to apply excessive lubricant as it may blow out the Slip Yoke end cap when the installed driveshaft articulates during vehicle operation.
