There was a GM Dana 44 differential Side Bearing change which depending upon what parts book you believe was effective in 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, or 1968. My Chevy Parts Book shows 1964 models with the new bearing, but if you have a 1960-1966 GM Dana 44 closed knuckle axle, you should verify what diff side bearing you have before ordering.
