The 2003-2013.5 AAM 9-1/4" Front Axle used in Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 4x4s can easily be identified by the following:
12 Bolt Cover
3 Link Suspension (2 Long Radius Arms behind the axle and 1 frame to axle tracking bar in front of and parallel to the axle.
Electric Axle Shaft Disconnect Actuator on right axle tube.
The regular 2014-2018 Ram 2500 and 2013-2018 Ram 3500 axles share the same parts. The 2014-2018 Ram 2500 Power Wagon does have some components that are unique to the Power Wagon.
The change over from the 14 bolt non-disconnect axle to the electric disconnect 12 bolt axle occurred during the 2013 model year with Ram 3500 models being the first to get the new axle. If you have a 2013 model year Ram, verify which axle you have before ordering parts.
