QU40429U Used Tabbed Spindle Lock Washer for Dana 44 and GM 10 Bolt

QU40429U Used Tabbed Spindle Lock Washer for Dana 44 (Dodge, Ford), GM 10 Bolt (Chevy/GMC) front drive axles. This washer was used between the inner and outer spindle nuts on many SUV's, 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton Chevy, Ford, and GMC trucks with serviceable wheel bearings. GM used QU40429 from 1982 to 1991, Ford Dana 44IFS axles had QU40429 off and on from 1981 to 1996. Dodge used it from 1980-1984.

Tech Note 1: Hubs
QU40429U was mainly used on vehicles with available automatic locking hubs. The four tabs engaged 4 slots in the automatic hub body. For trucks with manual locking hubs, QU40429U is interchangeable with QU40060.

Tech Note 2: Fits 1-5/8” Thread Dia.
QU40429U Spindle Washer fits spindles with thread diameters of 1-5/8”.

Dana 44 SUVs, ½ ton and ¾ ton, and GM 10 Bolt:

Dodge: 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984

Ford: 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984

Chevy, GM: 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991
