Tech Note 1: Lubricate Before Assembly 
Soak QU12018 Bearing Cup in SM1QT Synchromesh NV5600 Manual Transmission Oil or other approved lubricant before assembly.

Tech Note 2: Lubricants, Sealants, Threadlockers
NV5600 Transmissions use an anaerobic sealant (QU90003) to seal all the case part. RTV sealant is used to seal between the bottom of the shift tower spacer and the main case. Apply Threadlocker (S24200) to all bolt threads when reassembling your transmission, this is especially important on open ended threaded holes into the case to prevent oil seepage past the bolt threads.
