Ford used 2 different Pinion Yokes on 1992-1997 era F-350 4x4 Dana 60 Front Axles. The two yokes are identical except for the slinger (deflector) which was used for 1992-1996 but deleted in 1997. The original equipment pinion yokes use QU40841 U-bolts to secure the oversize 1.125" u-joint cups used on the Ford specific 1330F universal joints (See TK40723 and QU40776). The original QU20179 1330F Pinion Yokes are now out of production although we still have some available as of September 2011. A less expensive and more readily available alternative to the original yoke is to replace the 1330F u-joint with a straight 1330 U-joint (TK40721, (QU40774) and use QU40713 1330 series pinion yokes.
