It has been so many years since I worked on a 1960's era Dodge W300 rear axle that I can not recall from memory the axle shaft spline counts. As far as I can tell from the Dodge parts books, Dodge used Dana 70s with 23 spline axle shaft in the W300 up to 1968. However, Dana shows the 23 spline was replaced by the 35 spline by 1967, so if you need diff parts or axle shafts, ALWAYS verify what you have before ordering parts.
