There are two choices each for left and right axle shafts for the JK models. The inner axle shaft spline size is 1-5/16" x 30 spline.

Some 2007-up JK axle shafts use the same 1350 series Axle U-Joint as the old 1974 to 1990 full size Jeep Wagoneers and J10/J20 trucks. All the other JK axles use a unique extra wide axle u-joint that has the same cup size as the older joint. A wider joint can transmit a bit more torque and it can operate at a greater angle.
