The Axle Shaft Oil Seals in your Dodge AAM925 front axle are of composite construction combining a steel shell with a plastic axle shaft guide. The axle Shaft Seals are located right next to the differential bearing adjusters so complete axle disassembly is required to replace them. Trying to install these seals using makeshift tools usually results in a wrecked seal and boogered up differential adjuster threads.
