The 1970's was a time of transition for Dodge pickups. Besides the obvious body style change in 1972, rear axle options became more standardized making parts identification a bit simpler, but you still must know the brake size or axle capacity of your axle to order parts prior to disassembly. We stock many of the common parts for these axles and a few of the less common.
During the 1980-1993 period, the Dana 60 rear axle used in Dodge pickups was pretty much standardized on most components except the wheel bearings. One significant change was the introduction of rear anti-lock brakes for the 1989 model year.
