Seals & O-Rings Ram 273D Transfer Case

The Dodge or Ram New Venture NV273D Transfer Case uses both conventional Seals and O-Rings to keep oil in and water out. The Slip Yoke type Rear Output Seal is typically the first Seal to fail, usually from the heavy Slip Yoke wearing out the rear output Bushing (QU50261). To disassemble the NV273D Front Case, both the Input Seal and Front Output Seal must be destroyed while removing them in order to access the Input and Front Output Shaft Snap Rings.
