If you only need a bearing or two for your 10-1/2" Ford Sterling full-floating rear axle, we stock the best: Timken®. For the amount of work it takes to change most axle bearings, the extra cost for a Timken® diff or pinion bearing is a small price to pay for better steel, more uniform surface finish, and accurate, precision ground races. The differential side bearings are the same on all 1999-2010 Ford Sterling Rear Axles. The inner pinion bearings and crush sleeve are different for 1999-2006 axles and 2008-2010 models. 2007 model year axles can have either style of bearings, so if you have a 2007, you will need to verify which version you have before ordering. Trucks assembled after December 17, 2006 use the later bearing.
