Effective with the 2014 model year, Ram 2500 3/4 ton trucks use a coil spring AAM 1150 11-1/2" Ring Gear rear axle. The coil spring axle does share some components with the leaf spring AAM 1150 axle used in prior year Ram 2500s and most Ram 3500s up to 2018, but many of the differential parts are not interchangeable between the two axles. The new axle replaces both the leaf spring 1150 previously found on 2003-2013 Cummins diesel powered Ram 2500 trucks and the AAM 1050 10.5" rear axle which was used on gas V8 powered Ram 2500s including Power Wagons from 2003 through 2013.
