Dan the Gear Man® Tech Notes:
Product Note
Seal Installer
Applications
Tech Note 1: Product Note
Removal and reinstallation of your transmission is not covered in this TSB as that will vary by year and transmission model. As long as you have the correct tools, replacing your rear crank seal is pretty straight forward once the transmission and flywheel is out of the way, if you follow the service procedures in TSB6000. There are a lot of ways to make the job harder or ding your crank and/or seal if you tackle the job without this TSB!
Tech Note 2: Seal Installer
The Seal Installer described in this TSB is our QT3000 which is included in QK6000 and TS6000 Crank Seal Kits.
