Tech Note 1: Limited Slip Lube
For a professional job, we recommend one 4 ounce bottle of lube to soak your clutches, and one 4 ounce bottle to add to your rear differential oil after any drain and refill of axle lubricant.

Tech Note 2: 1984-93 Dodge Dana 70
Dodge Dana 70 factory Limited Slip rear axles in 1984-1993 Dodge trucks will have Dana Powr-Lok™ Limited Slip Differentials. A ratchet type locking differential, the Detroit No-Spin™ was also available for some years and models. We have no service parts for the No-Spin™, but we do stock parts for the Powr-Lok™ Limited Slip.

Tech Note 3: 1994-02 Dodge Ram 2500
During the 1994 to 2002 model years, Dodge Ram 2500 trucks using Dana 70 rear axles were available with an optional Dana Powr-Lok™ clutch-type Limited Slip differential. Clutch type differentials wear out under normal use and they will usually need the clutch sets replaced at 100,000 to 125,000 miles to maintain adequate limited slip function.
