Description
QT1075 1/2" Drive Ball Joint Adjuster Sleeve Socket for a host of domestic 4x4s from 1969 to 1993. QT1075 also fits 2018 and newer Mahindra Roxor 4x4s. Chevy, Dodge, Ford, GMC, International, Jeep all used the QU40187 Ball joints on just about every 4x4 they sold with Dana 30, Dana 44, or GM 10 Bolt solid beam axles with serviceable wheel bearings. The USA Made 1/2" Drive design of the QT1075 attaches directly to your ratchet or breaker bar making it the easiest to use and most effective Ball Joint Spanner Socket on the market. Cheaper, competitive sockets with a hex body means you have to add a hex socket to drive the ball joint socket. Sounds OK, but the added link makes it very difficult to put direct downward pressure on the socket as you try to turn it. When servicing your vintage 4x4, use the same 1/2" Drive socket design Dan the Gear Man has relied upon for over 45 years! Not for Impact Use.
