QU40540 Spindle-to-Knuckle Bolt or Stud for Ford

QU40540 Spindle-to-Knuckle Bolt or Stud Six of these press-in special bolts fit each steering knuckle on 1976-1979 Ford F250 Dana 44, plus 1978-1979 and 1985-1991 Ford Dana 60 Front Axles. They are used along with QU95036 Locknut to retain your spindles and caliper anchor plates.

Tech Note 1: When Installing
When you drive these Bolts into your steering knuckle, make sure the flat spot on the head is adjacent to the spindle mounting hole.

Tech Note 2: Replace Damaged
These bolts (studs) should be replaced after front end collisions or anytime the threads are damaged in any way.
