This is a BRAND NEW, complete New Venture NV271D manual shift transfer case with a 5 position shift indicator switch for Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 trucks with either manual transmissions or 29 spline output automatics. Tech Note 1: Check Oil
These transfer cases are shipped by New Venture with a factory fill of oil, but leakage can occur during shipping if the case is tipped. Always check the oil level after installation and refill as needed.

Tech Note 2: Case Info
QU11151 assembly is the latest production model of 52105649 series of transfer cases. It includes all the production updates that were phased in over the years. QU11151 replaces all previous 52105649 versions including: 52105649, 52105649AA, 52105649AB, 52105649AC, 52105649AD, and 52105649AE, plus Dodge replacement R2105649 series cases.

Tech Note 3: Matching Slip Yokes
The output shaft has 34 splines. If you need a matching slip yoke, these are the available choices:
AAM 1415 Series (1-3/16" Cup Diameter): QU50430, QU50431 (NLA), QU50432 (NLA), QU50752
AAM 1485 Series: (1-3/8" Cup Diameter): QU50441

Tech Note 4: Gasket Info
Dodge did not use a gasket between the transmission and transfer case as both the transmission output shaft and transfer case input shaft are sealed. However, you can use TK10519 Transmission to Transfer Case Gasket if you wish.
