Dodge Factory Gear Ratios for 1975-1993 Dana 60 Front Axle Ranged from 3:54 to 4.88 depending upon the year and engine. New Dana 60 gearing is available from 3.54 to 7.17 ratios. In addition, for the 1987-1993 model years, an optional Dana 61 front axle was available with 3.07 and 3.54 axle ratios. The difference in the 2 axle models is the Dana 61 has a greater pinion offset to allow for a larger diameter pinion gear. New Gearing for the now obsolete Dana 61 is limited to 3.54 ratio which is the same gear set as the Dana 60. 3.07 ratio gears are not available unless used.
