TKA40630 NEW Torque King Front Spindle Assembly for Dana 44 Open Knuckle front axles with Drum Brakes in 1969.5-1971 GM 1/2 tons, 1966-1972 Ford F100, and 1971-1972 Bronco. New Torque King Spindle is a USA made, Chromoly Front Axle Wheel Bearing Spindle made from premium domestic steel. Spindle Assembly includes one Spindle with Spindle Bearing installed, Brass Spindle Thrust Washer, and Spindle Seal.

Tech Note 1: Drum Brakes
TKA40630 Spindle only fits 4x4s with front drum brakes. Ford did not introduce front disc brakes for the Bronco and F100 4x4s until the start of the 1976 model year.
Tech Note 2: Seal Differences
A small number of late production axles may be found with QU20040 2" ID Rubber V-Seal instead of QU40043 Spindle to Axle Shaft Seal. The two seal types are functionally interchangeable.
Tech Note 3: Installation
Before installing your new spindle, lube the bearing, seals, and thrust washer with QU90018 Pyroplex® grease. Also, apply some Anti-Seize Compound to the mating surfaces between the spindle and steering knuckle.
