Description
TKA20183 DRW F350 Rear Wheel Hub Assembly for 2006.5-2016 Ford F350 DRW trucks built starting December 5, 2005 with Dana 80 Dual Rear Wheel Axles. Includes bearing cups and studs. These are machined from a cast bar of Ductile Iron with near identical strength properties compared to 4140 billet steel. Many of the largest earth movers and heavy farm equipment that require high strength and longevity make use of Ductile Iron as the GO TO material for complex parts. Tech Note 1: 2005 Change
2005-2016 Ford F-350 trucks with Dual Rear Wheels use Dana Spicer Model 80 Rear Axles. The Outer Wheel Bearings and Cups are the same for all years, but the Hubs will vary by build date. For the 2005 Model Year, Ford switched to a beefier rear hub with a larger inner wheel bearing and wheel seal. In mid model year 2006, Ford switched back to the smaller inner bearing previously used on 1999-2004 models but retained the larger hub's external dimensions. See TK20182 for the 2005-2006.5 Hub.
Tech Note 2: Always Replace
Always replace the bearing cones when installing this hub.
Tech Note 3: Bearing Cups
You do not need to order the wheel bearing cups because the Ford equivalent to our QU50411 Outer and QU50396 Timken Inner Bearing Cups are preinstalled in the hub.
