Tech Note 2: Ratchet Nuts
The ratchet type spindle nuts used on Ford 10.25" rear axles are subject to wear. Replace any nut that comes apart, does nut emit an audible click when adjusting, or is damaged in any way. Right Side Nut is QU40102, Left Side Nut is QU40103.

Rebuilds
After ordering seals and a tool for a hard to replace Ram front axle seal, i came back here when wanting to ressurect a 95' Ford that has been sitting for 5 years. Having the correct bearings, races, and seals to completely rebuild the outers all in one order is great. The parts store you have to buy each individually and hope they pull the correct stock. To add to that, having the correct installation tools.... amazing. Highschool me learned with sockets, grown me just installed everything in 5 min without worrying about getting a race crooked or bending the seal. Will continue coming back here for sure. 10/10
