TK8320 Parts Only Torque King® Premium Rear Wheel Bearing & Seal Kit for 1977-1993 Dodge D250 and W250 and 1969.5 -1979 Ford Dana 60 Rear Axles with Dana 60 and Single Rear Wheels. TK8320 also fits 1977-2003 Dodge B350 and B3500 1-ton van Dana 60 full floating rear axles with 2.5" wide brake shoes. This Kit features premium Timken® bearings and original equipment quality wheel seals because when it comes to rear wheel bearings and seals, only the best will do to safely support the heavy loads your truck hauls. Kit includes Inner and Outer Wheel Timken® Bearings/Bearing Cups, Flanged Inner Wheel Seals, steel Axle Shaft Flange Gaskets and Threadlocker for the axle shaft flange bolts. This Kit fits 1977-2003 Dodge 1 ton vans, plus 1977 to 1993 Dodge 4x2 and 4x4 250 series trucks with Single Rear Wheel Dana 60 Rear Drive Axles that have 2" Spindle Threads and uses the same inner and outer wheel bearings.

Tech Note3: Wheel Bearing Grease
Under operating conditions, the rear wheel bearings are bathed in oil from the differential, but they do need to be packed with grease to provide initial lubrication.

Tech Note 4: Dodge Nut Design Change
Dodge made a spindle nut design change during the 1979 the model year. The change was effective with trucks produced after January 8, 1979. Vehicles produced up to January 8, 1979 use a double spindle nut secured with bend-over tab lock washer (QU40051 Lock Washer and 2 QU11070 Nut) for each hub. Starting with January 9, 1979 production, Dodge used a single elastic stop nut with a lock wedge (QU40089 Wedge and QU40077 Nut).

Tech Note 5: Ford Rear Hub Design Change 
Ford made a rear hub design change during the 1969 the model year. My Ford parts book lists the change effective at VIN F30001. Most aftermarket sources list the change occurring at VIN F70001. If your 1969 F250 has a VIN between F30000 and F70001, you should physically verify which seal you need.

Safety Warnings:
Ford: The Bend-Over Tab Spindle Nut Lock Washers used on Ford Dana 60 rear axles are designed to be installed once and only once! For safety reasons, you must discard the Lockwasher if it is removed from the spindle for any reason. The small tab that fits in the spindle key slot has a tendency to shear off if the washer is reused. You may hear of cases where factory double nut sets have come off while the truck was being driven. Invariably, these failures involve Spindle Lock Washers that have been reused or improperly installed. NEVER REUSE FACTORY Bend Over Tab Spindle Lock Washers!!!!!

Dodge: Stock Elastic Stop Spindle Nuts and Lock Wedges used on Dodge Dana 60 rear axles after approximately January 8, 1979 are designed to be installed once and only once! For safety reasons, you must discard both the nut and wedge if they are removed from the spindle for any reason. Both parts lose a percentage of their resistance of coming off when they are removed. You may hear of cases where this type of factory nut has come off while the truck was being driven. Invariably, these failures involve nuts and wedges that have been reused or improperly installed. NEVER REUSE FACTORY ELASTIC STOP SPINDLE NUTS and LOCK WEDGES!!
