TK8305 Master Dual Rear Wheel Bearing & Seal Kit with Tools

TK8305 Torque King® Master Rear Wheel Bearing and Seal Kit with Installation Tools for 1972-1993 Dodge Dana 60HD and Dana 70 Dual Rear Wheel Axles features premium Timken® bearings and original equipment quality wheel seals because when it comes to rear wheel bearings and seals, only the best will do to safely support the heavy loads your truck hauls. Kit includes Wheel Bearing Cup Installers, Wheel Seal Installer, Driver Handle, Timken® Inner and outer wheel bearings/bearing cups, double lip inner wheel seals, steel axle shaft flange gaskets, and Threadlocker for the axle shaft flange bolts. This Kit fits 1972 to 1993 Dodge 4x2 and 4x4 300, or 350 series trucks with Dual Rear Wheel Dana 70 Rear Drive Axles. Also, fits Vans and van based chassis with either Dana 60HD or Dana 70 dual rear wheel rear axles.

Tech Note 3: Pack in Grease
Under operating conditions, the rear wheel bearings are bathed in oil from the differential, but they do need to be packed with grease to provide initial lubrication.

Tech Note 4: SAFETY WARNING
Stock Elastic Stop Spindle Nuts and Lock Wedges used on Dodge Dana 70 rear axles after approximately January 8, 1979 are designed to be installed once and only once! For safety reasons, you must discard both the nut and wedge if they are removed from the spindle for any reason. Both parts lose a percentage of their resistance of coming off when they are removed. You may hear of cases where this type of factory nut has come off while the truck was being driven. Invariably, these failures involve nuts and wedges that have been reused or improperly installed. NEVER REUSE FACTORY ELASTIC STOP SPINDLE NUTS and LOCK WEDGES!!!!!
