TK8028 Dual Rear Wheel Torque King® Master Rear Wheel Bearing and Seal Kit for 2003-2018 Dodge AAM 14 Bolt 11.5" Full Float Rear Axles and 2013-2018 14 Bolt 11.8" Rear Axles In 2003-2018 Dodge Ram 3500 trucks with Dual Rear Wheels includes 4 Timken® Bearings with Cups, 2 Oil Bath Wheel Seals, 2 Axle Shaft Flange Gaskets, 2 Spindle Nuts, 2 Spindle Nut Lock Rings, 2 Locking Keys for Spindle Nuts, and 16 Axle Shaft Flange Bolts. 

NOTE:  The Original Equipment AAM Flange Grade 8 bolts are on factory back order. Kits will be made up with Dana Spicer Grade 9 Bolts that are 1/8" shorter.

Tech Note 2: Lubrication
Under operating conditions, the rear wheel bearings are bathed in oil from the differential, but they do need to be pre-lubricated to provide initial lubrication.

Tech Note 3: Oil Bath Seal
QU50246 is a unitized Oil Bath type rear wheel seal. The rotating sealing surface is inside the seal. Both the ID of the seal is a tight fit on the spindle and the OD is a press fit in the wheel hub. In operation the outer portion of the seal rotates around the inside component. Oil Bath wheel seals can be easily damaged during installation by make-shift or wrong tooling. For best results, I strongly recommend you use optional QT1546 Wheel Seal Installer and either QT1100 1"or QT1116 1-1/4" diameter Driver Handles.

Tech Note 4: Axle Vent
Many wheel seal leaks are caused by pressure building in the axle due to a clogged axle vent system. Always check and clear the vent system. Other common causes of leaking seals include improper wheel bearing adjustment, poor installation techniques/tools (See Tech Note 3), and damaged spindle surface or hub bore.
