Applications
Tech Note 1: Before Installing
Lubricate your new bearing with a little transfer case oil to provide initial lubrication.
Tech Note 2: Front Bearing
QU50875 is used as the front output, front ball bearing on many New Venture and New Process chain drive transfer cases with 32 spline front output shafts including most NP241 series models in Chevy, Dodge, GMC, and Jeep 4x4s. For most of these applications, QU50875 is locked in place by QU10874 Snap Ring in the front case half on many New Process chain drive transfer cases.
Tech Note 3: Rear Bearing
QU50875 is used as the rear output ball bearing on many New Venture and New Process chain drive transfer cases with 32 spline rear output shafts including most NP241 series models in Chevy, Dodge, GMC, and Jeep 4x4s.
Tech Note 4: Assembly Number
New Venture was formed as a joint venture between Chrysler's New Process Gear and General Motor's Hydromatic-Muncie transmission divisions in 1990. Chrysler bought out GM's New Venture stake in February of 2002. Chrysler later sold New Venture to Magna, a Canadian automotive parts company. All these name changes are confusing, but the important thing to know is a specific assembly number for any New Process/New Venture transfer case is the same and uses the same replacement parts regardless if it was built by New Venture, New Process, or Magna.
