Tech Note 1: Common Housing Failures
If your original Rear Output Housing cracked, there is a good chance the damage was caused by vibration from your rear driveshaft. Bad u-joints, or having a bent or out of balance rear driveshaft, can crack one of these housings.
Tech Note 2: Speedometer Output
QU50833 fits 1994-1997 Dodge NP241DHD Transfer Cases with speedometer output. 1998-2001 Ram 1500 trucks do not have a transfer case mounted speedometer sender.
