The two most common cases of front case half cracking or breakage are a bad front driveshaft or accident damage.
Tech Note 2: Direct Replacement Assembly Numbers
QU50831 is a direct replacement for Dodge Transfer Case Assembly Numbers 52105021, 52105022, 52105242, 52105316, 52105364, 52105364AB, 52105365, 52105365AB, 52105406AA, and 52105407AA. It will fit other 1995-2001 applications with front housing casting base number C16118 if the front output seal is changed.
