Description
QU50455 Aftermarket Transfer Case Front Bearing Retainer 4 Bolt Gasket for NP200, NP201, and NP205 transfer cases. This is a typical aftermarket gasket that does not meet original equipment specs for die cut dimensions, thickness or paper quality, however, for the low budget repair, it is far better to use one of these instead of assembling your case without gaskets!
This gasket is for all Chevy, Dodge, Ford, GM, IHC, and Jeep 4x4s with NP200, NP201, or NP205 transfer cases. It fits between the cast iron main transfer case housing and the 4 bolt front output or remote mount input bearing retainer. Has cutout for oil feed passage found on many of these transfer cases.
If you want an original equipment spec, USA made Gasket made to precise dimensions for proper clearances, see TK10514.

Dan the Gear Man® Tech Notes:
Paper Gaskets
No Sealant
Applications
Tech Note 1: Paper Gaskets
The New Process NP200, NP201, and NP205 series of cast iron, gear drive transfer cases were all designed to be used with cut paper gaskets of precise dimensions. For proper clearances, we recommend using original equipment thickness gaskets when working on your transfer case, however, for the low budget repair, it is far better to use one of these instead of assembling your case without gaskets!
Tech Note 2: No Sealant
I do not recommend using a sealant with this gasket unless there are deep pits or gouges in the case or bearing retainer. If you do use sealant, apply just a very thin film of QU90005 RTV!
Applications:
In all Chevy, Dodge, Ford, GM, IHC, and Jeep 4x4s with New Process NP200, NP201, or NP205 Transfer Cases
