QU50422 1996-1997 NP241DHD One Piece Extension Housing fits some 1996 and almost all 1997 New Process NP241DHD transfer cases in Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 4x4 trucks. QU50422 is only for those 1996 and 1997 NP241DHD models with QU50523 31 spline rear output shafts. Includes QU90025 Rear Output Bushing and QU50171 Rear Output Seal. USA Made.

Tech Note 2: Speedometer
QU50422 which has a speedometer drive hole, was only used until 1997. 1998 to 2002 NP241DHD transfer cases use QU50506 Extension Housing which does not have speedometer provisions as the speedometer on these years using the rear axle ABS sensor for a speed signal.
