Tech Note 1: Product Note
Contrary to popular belief, the Drive Chain can not cause a clunk or contribute to "slack" in the drive train in part-time cases in 4x2 mode. The chain is only under power in 4x4 mode.

Tech Note 2: Only Fits
Dodge used several versions of NP241 series transfer cases all of which use different chains. QU50288 only fits those Dodge Ram 1500 models with NP241D Generation 2 cases built after May 2004 with 98 link chains and 3 blue links.

Tech Note 3: Original Equipment
In addition to having the correct length, width, and link height, a replacement transfer case drive chain must have the same type of link pins as the original equipment chain. Why? Because transfer case sprocket teeth are machined with specific features and angles that match a specific link and pin type. Our QU50288 chains exactly match the original equipment specifications because they ARE original equipment chains.

QU50288 has 98 3/8" x 1-1/4" links with RJ pins.
