QU50233 also fits QU40806, QU40895, and QU40924 Unfinished Driveshaft assemblies. Kit includes new genuine original equipment Boot and two QU50138 Stainless Steel Boot Clamps. Tech Note 1: Before Disassembling
Before disassembling your slip joint, create match marks on the yoke and driveshaft tubing, to ensure you reassemble the yoke in phase and in balance with the rest of the shaft. While the factory slip joints for these Dodge trucks usually have an extra wide spline, which prevents out of phase assembly, most rebuilt shafts do not have this feature, so mark your parts before disassembly!

Tech Note 2: 2006-2009
For the Model years 2006-2009, Dodge used two types of front driveshaft slip joints in Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 4x4 trucks. QU50233 fits Type 1 Driveshafts with female slip yokes and 32 spline male slip stubs.
