QU50230 Dodge Ram Front Driveshaft Splined Stub Shaft is a genuine original equipment 32 spline male Slip Stub for 2003 to 2009 Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 4x4 front driveshafts with TYPE 1 Slip Yoke. Fits 2.5" x 0.095" wall thickness tubing used on 2003-2009 Dodge Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 Double Cardan front CV driveshaft. Made in Mexico.

Boot: QU50233
Boot Clamp: QU50138
Slip Yoke: QU50231 (1-1/8" Cup) or QU11078 (1-3/16" Cup)
Driveshaft Tubing: QU40832
Tech Note 2: 32 Splines
QU50230 has 32 splines. The tips of two of these splines are joined together. The joined splines will match a wide groove in the slip yoke.
Tech Note 3: Before Installing
Installation of this part requires machine shop and welding skills. Driveshaft fabrication can be done by any competent machinist, but best results are usually obtained from dedicated driveshaft specialists who can both assemble and balance the finished shaft. Tech Note 4: Installing
Cut your driveshaft tubing to a length that will have the slip yoke at the midpoint of its travel over the non-splined segment of the stub with the trucks weight on the front axle.
