Tech Note 1: Early and Late Chains 
1980-1982 Ford Borg Warner Transfer Case have an 86 Link x 1-1/2" wide chain with Rocker Joint pins and use QU20437 chain. 1983 and later BW1345 cases use QU50182 84 Link x 1-1/4" Chain with Round Link Pins. The two chains are NOT interchangeable.

Tech Note 2: Fits Ford Only
Ford New Process NP208F Transfer Cases use an 84 Link Chain that is unique to Ford applications. It is too long to work with NP208 model transfer cases in Chevy, Dodge, GMC, and Jeep 4x4s.
