QU50138 Dodge Ram Driveshaft Boot Clamp Fits QK3078 Boot on 1989-1998 and QU50233 Boot in 2003 and newer full size Dodge Ram 4x4 front double cardan constant velocity driveshafts. Use for the large (Slip Yoke) end of factory slip yoke boots used on 1989-1998 Dodge Ram front CV driveshafts or either end of the boots used on 2003-2009 TYPE 1 (female spline yoke) slip joints. Also fits some late 1980's to early 1990's Dodge rear driveshafts. Made in Canada.

Tech Note 1: Before Disassembling
Before disassembling your slip joint, create match marks on the yoke and driveshaft tubing, to ensure you reassemble the yoke in phase and in balance with the rest of the shaft. While the factory slip joints for these Dodge trucks usually have an extra wide spline, which prevents out of phase assembly, most rebuilt shafts do not have this feature, so mark your parts before disassembly!

Tech Note 2: To Install
QU50138 is used to seal Dodge driveshaft slip yoke boots. Special QT4018i crimping pliers are the preferred method of closing the clamp, but hoof nippers or some types of wire cutters can be used in an emergency.
